What is medical nutritional therapy or MNT?

Medical nutrition therapy or MNT is individualized dietary instruction and counseling for a nutrition related problem. MNT is provided by Mary Ann Ratliff who is a registered dietitian. MNT provides a nutritional care plan appropriate for each client. Nutrition is vital to health and disease prevention in all age groups and essential for healthy growth and development. This is especially important for pregnant, post-partum, and breastfeeding women along with newborns and children.
